Best bet: Hang out all day around Victoria Harbor and Government Street. Tons to see, tons to do, for as little or as much as you want.

Visit the Visitor’s Center. It is one of the best we’ve ever seen!

Empress Hotel is worth walking in to check out (we hear the cheesecake is excellent)!

Stroll the Parliament building grounds

Walk along the harbor

Check out the shops down Government Street and pop in for a yummy chocolate treat at Rogers’ Chocolates

(The Royal BC Museum is across the street from both Parliament and the Empress Hotel. We did not go there, but locals say we can’t miss it next time, and at the time of this writing, the Wooly Mammoth exhibition is there)!

Party People DayTrippers-

DSC_0201 A Pub Crawl is in order, be sure to use the water taxis!

Irish Times…have a cup (or a VAT) of the famous West Coast Seafood Chowder while you are there!

or Option 2
