During this crazy time of year, it’s important to take time out and enjoy life’s simple pleasures. With that means a quick trip the the wine country. What better place, than the Napa or Sonoma area?
So what to do and where to go? First, check into the Clif Family Winery
. On Dec. 14, they are hosting Gather & Give with Nimbus Arts. They welcome you to stuff those stockings with Clif Family kitchen goodies, Clif Family wine, treat family and friends to a holiday lunch, or grab a festive dinner to-go from the Food Truck between 2-7PM
. They will be donating 20% of sales to Nimbus Arts, spreading cheer to the community.

Looking for more holiday cheer? Visit Front Street in Forestville as they deck the halls of their hometown for Fridays in Forestville Night
. On Friday, December 16, 2016 from 5:30-8:00pm
, guests will enjoy good tidings of the previous Friday in Forestville, with some added surprises stashed under the trees of town that will surely put you in the holiday spirit! Russian River Vineyards, Joseph Jewell, Jigar Wines, and Wine Guerrilla join the festivities, so you can count fabulous glasses of wines which will be paired with scrumptious bites from Canneti’s Roadhouse Italiana, Twist, and Backyard. Finally, close out your evening with at Tiny Town Café in with sweet treats and holiday tunes. Each stop will fill your senses with elegant wines, tasty bites and the opportunity to peruse exhibits by local artists. Pick up a raffle ticket from one of the tasting rooms for a gift basket filled with goodies. All proceeds from the raffle will go directly to Food for Thought. If that’s not festive enough, hang out at Gloria Ferrer
and sip on award winning wines in their wine cave. Last weekend they held their annual Holiday Crab Feed with crab, prawns, artichokes, potatoes, onions, corn, hotlinks, and fresh sourdough baguettes. Be sure to your tickets early next year as this event sells out fast!
