Springtime in Tahoe: 3 Outings for your Spring Trip to Tahoe

With record breaking snow and rainfall this year, Tahoe still boasts some of the best springtime fun around!

Regardless if it’s, sunny, snowing or whatever, families can enjoy a fun ride on one of Heavenly Ski Resort’s gondolas to the top of of one of the Lake’s beautiful mountain tops.  Once there, take some time to savor the scenery!

Looking for a more active pursuit? Pack a picnic and head on over to Emerald Bay. There adventurers may hike down the graded trail to Vikingsholm. While many love to explore the area, others just enjoy soaking up the sun on the shore.  Spend an hour or two, or rent a kayak and make it a day. The choice is yours.

Another great place to visit for families, couples and singles alike, is the Taylor Creek Visitor Center. With spectacular views of Mt. Tallac from the beach, it’s a great place to spend the day enjoying the splendors Tahoe has to offer. Plus, the bonus is this place isn’t too far from a favorite beach hangout, The Beacon, where you can go to enjoy their famous Rum Runners and appetizers o’ plenty!
